How long have you been natural and when did you BC?
On December 18th, I will be celebrating a year and half of being natural.  My BC was June 18th, 2009. What are your staple products and hairstyles? Water and Organic Aloe Vera Gel are at the top of the list. My hair is happy with anything else I buy or mix up myself as long as it has shea butter, vitamin e, and jojoba oil as a base. Regularly, I also use coconut oil, grapeseed oil or castor oil depending on the climate. Twists and twist-out have been my Go-to style throughout my natural hair journey.

What is your regimen?
I like to wash my hair every 1-2 weeks. Wash day usually includes a pre-poo, sectioning off my hair, shampoo, condition, the optional DC and a detangling session. For twisted or braided protective styles (no extensions) I’ll rinse my hair every couple days and seal with a shea mix/oil. For out styles I spritz at night, put in fat twists to sleep, and reapply oil every 2-3 days.

What are your natural hair goals?
Healthy Happy Hair. & if it grows like a weed down my back, so be it.  =) lol

How do you keep your hair intact overnight?
Depends on the style, but a satin scarf, bonnet, or pillow case are always involved.

How do you maintain length?
I try to be nice to my hair.  Gentle when detangling and styling. Minimizing friction where I can. Always utilizing my satin.

Name 1 reason you went natural and why you love being natural.
I went Natural for Me! I love the natural experience because as I learn and experiment with my hair, I also grow and evolve through those experiences as a person. Natural hair seems to spark a completely different confidence and creativity that radiates to everyone around you.
