This past Friday I washed my hair with Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo.
I loved the smell all day and how it kept my hair feeling soft afterwards, clean but not stripped. I just wore it in a puff to work that morning. My intention was to do 2-strand twists as a protective style when I got home…however I was informed that we had to go to a HS football game…which ended up being a blowout…womp womp. Nonetheless I had like an hour or so to do this…[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0CaewUz0EU?version=3&rel=1&fs=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&wmode=window]
So, I rushed and did the front half in 2 strands, then tried to pin up the back…FUMBLE!
I think I didn’t even take a pic of the back pinned up because it looked crazy, but who cares I’ve been out of High School for almost 10 years now…wasn’t trying to impress a soul. SO once I got home I tried to recover my hairstyle fumble and came up with this for the meeting I had the next day:
Needless to say I’ve been happy with this because it’s easy. I sprayed some tea tree oil on my scalp at night, wear my satin scarf, wake up and do a type of flat twist gathering all the 2 strands down the left side and tuck the ends under each other on top of my head. I may use 1 or 2 bobby pins to secure the back larger flat twist end underneath on the same left side. But other than that, it’s a quick get up & go. Due to the rain today I will wait another day to do the twist out & rock that but…this works for me!
