It did leave my hair soft though and it wasn't weighed down at all. It left no build up on my hair no matter how much i used and i am very heavy handed. It is extremely lightweight and i may try it to add a little moisture to my hair before i blow dry. My hair actually was so light, you would think i didn't have anything on it at all . lol  It is a bit pricey though and if you would like to try before you buy, they do have sample sizes so that is a HUGE plus!
