Yall know that i love all things hair. Whether its relaxed or natural. My concern is basically HEALTHY HAIR. I've said it time and time again. I am not here to police your follicles, i just share the benefits and styles of being natural. If you choose to relax that is your choice. I will not gather and angry mob and tell them to stone you... so with that being said..
~takes a shot of SOCO~ I ran across this relaxed hair blog called "Just Grow Already" and decided to share it with you ladies. ~takes a shot of whisky and ducks~
LOOK DONT GET NO ATTITUDE WITH ME!
I decided to share because very rarely do you see blogs talking about this type of thing and while the natural hair movement may be in full swing, there are still women who choose to relax their hair and i am perfectly ok with that.
Her name is Jen and her hair is beautiful. Hell if i didn't love my natural hair's versatility so much, she would inspire me to go back to relaxers..
Check out her blog. You might start stalking it just as much as i did. The whole point i am making with this is that we African American women CAN have REAL long HEALTHY hair whether relaxed or natural.
Transitioners could also use this blog in their journey because she gives tons of tips on how to stretch hair and what to do in between stretching the relaxer. If you don't know what that means, stretching means to go past 8 weeks without getting a relaxer to have more hair to relax so you wont over lap the already relaxed hair. This is useful for transitioners because it can show them how to deal with the two textures.
But we all know it will be a cold cold cold day in hell before that ever happens again.
What other relaxed hair blogs do you know of?
